Candace began her television career at the community channel of Fresno Cable. She then became the first news videographer at KMPH TV26 and also worked at KFSN Ch 30. In 1986 she began work at California State University, Fresno, coordinating instructional video production for nearly 12 years. She served in various production capacities, including, producer, scriptwriter, director, videographer, editor and lightingdirector. She has received 25 national video awards including 8 Tellys, 4 Vidographer Awards and a CINE Golden Eagle. Six videos have been distributed nationally.

In 2000 Candace became Fresno State's first Web Manager, overseeing the university's Web presence, developing Web training and coordinating Web initiatives and projects. She leads Fresno State's Web accessibility efforts and is

a leader in the CSU system's Web accessibiity initiatives. Her Lighting For Television site received an award from the Broadcast Education Association and was cited in a recent article in the National Speleological Society's Cavideo newsletter. Her Web Access@Fresno State site is a resource to Web accessibiity practitioners and is linked to from other university sites throughout the country.
