Research Interests: Multiwavelength observational astronomy of cataclysmic variables, nova shells, accretion disks and outflows, X-ray binaries and black holes, symbiotic stars, common envelope evolution, stellar magnetism, exoplanets, starburst galaxies, and quasars; also spaceflight, time-series analysis, and astronomical instrumentation.
