Program Format

Recitals - Presented by many of the artist faculty.
Lectures - David Etheridge, Francois Kloc, Tom Ridenour, Steve Wilkerson, & Pete Valentino.
Master Classes - Christopher Sereque & Michele Zukofsky.
Discussion Forum - David Etheridge, James Gillespie, and Gary Gray.
Participants for Master Classes may perform material of their choice for one of these individuals in informal master classes viewed by the remaining participants. Those who perform may play solos from the standard repertoire or orchestral excerpts.
*Participants will be enrolled on a first come, first served basis and assessed a fee of $25.00. The criteria for selection will be based on a Performance Resume. Please include works performed (orchestra, band, chamber, and solo), years studies, and one reference with phone numbers.
Exhibits will be open from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Friday; 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.

REGISTRATION and FEES

There is no cutoff date for registration. For those who register at the beginning of the Congress the fee will be $145 general, $115 seniors, and $82 student. Early registration fee-for those who register before July 10, 2001 is $130 general, $100 seniors, and $67 for students. Cost is $100 for spouses general admission and $70 spouses of seniors. Daily registration is $70 and $60 for a second day.

TRANSPORTATION
Ground transportation to and from the Fresno Yosemite International Airport is available by rental cars, taxi, or hotel vans. Air fares to Fresno, California are very reasonable. For example, flights as low as $180 round trip from Seattle to Fresno are commonly available.

HOUSING AND MEALS
Economical housing may be obtained at the Piccadilly Inn for conference rates as low as $69.00 (Barbara Henkel, 559 288-9407) or Super 8 Motel for conference rates as low as $42.00 (Adrianna, manager - 559 294-0224). Numerous restaurants are located within a 3 minute walk from the concert hall and exhibits (Marie Callender's, Old Spaghetti Factory, Tony Roma's Ribs, Black Angus Steak House, Golden House Oriental Cuisine, Round Table Pizza, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, McDonald's, Tsing Tao Chinese Cuisine, and more).
