Awards

Individual

Individual prizes will be awarded to the top three individuals in each event. Each student will receive a certificate of participation. The prizes for winners in each competition are as follows.

First place: trophy, certificate, t-shirt, and TI-89 titanium calculator donated by Texas Instruments Second place: trophy, certificate, and t-shirt Third place: trophy, certificate, t-shirt

Team

Trophies and/or prizes will be awarded to the school finishing first overall and to the top two finishers among each of the small, medium, and large divisions (*). See rules for team scoring procedures.

(*) Participating schools will be divided into three divisions according to enrollments. As a guiding principle, we anticipate divisions as follows:

• Small: less than 1,000 students
• Medium: 1,000-2,000 students
• Large: more than 2,000 students

First overall: trophy, certificate, and Zome Explorer Kit First place in each division: trophy, certificate, and prize to be determined Second place in each division: trophy, certificate, a book of math problems/puzzles/activities

Advisers

Certificates and mugs will be awarded to the following advisers:

• Adviser that traveled farthest
• Adviser that brought largest number of participants
• Adviser of the first overall team
