Read Number sense and algebra standards in K-7. Pay special attention to the following topics:

- Record some examples of problems done in different grades;
- Which standards are classified as key standards?
- Equations
- When are equations first introduced?
- What types of equations are students solving in each grade?
- What notations are used for the variables?
- Record some examples
- Which standards are classified as key standards?
