Service Learning Progress Report

Make a list (preferably organized in a teble or a spreadsheet) of completed, scheduled, and anticipated Service Learning activities.
For each activity, indicate:

  1. date(s),
  2. name of activity (e.g. Fresno Math Circle, Math Kangaroo Practice, Math Field Day Practice, etc.),
  3. location (Zoom or Fresno State or school name),
  4. hours completed or anticipated (prep meetings plus contact hours).

Please include:

Compute the total number of hours of completed and scheduled activities. Do not include the anticipated but not yet scheduled activities.

Progress Report 1: Your total at this point should be at least 16 hours. If you have more, even better! If you have less than 16 hours completed/scheduled, sign up for more activities and/or talk to your instructor.

Progress Report 2: At this point you should have all of your activities either completed or scheduled (perhaps with the exception of Math Field Day where you may not know your assignment yet; however, keep in mind that most Math Field Day assignments are about 3 hours). If there are any activities you would like to do but you have not signed up for them yet, sign up asap. If your total is 24 hours or more, then it sounds like you have a good plan, and you are done with this assignment. If it is below 24, please sign up for more activities before turning in this progress report. If needed, seek help from your instructor on how to fulfill your hours. There maybe more ways to provide service to the Fresno State enrichment program than you already know. (If you need more hours, it is best to stop by office hours or schedule an appointment before you turn in your plan.)
