SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13––4Cs Fall Meeting––La Quinta Inn, Sacramento TOPIC: “Promoting Your Agenda Effectively with Lawmakers” PROGRAM FOR NOVEMBER 13 9:00     Welcome and coffee hour 9:30     “Planning a Legislative Day” - Susan White and Jane Thompson - California Business Educators Association 10:00   “How to Testify at Hearings” - CBEA Advocate Representative 11:00   “Bringing Legislators to Your Classroom” - Mike Contino - California Mathematics Council 12:00   Lunch (included for two representatives from your association 1:00     4Cs business meeting and Open Forum 2:30 – 3:00      Adjournment Who will represent your association at the NOVEMBER 13 Fall Meeting? Do you wish to send three representatives or more? Registration is free for two representatives from associations whose membership in the 4Cs is current; an additional representative from current member associations is only $20 per person. The registration fee for associations whose dues have lapsed is $50 for one representative and $35 for each additional representative. The annual 4Cs membership dues are $100 per association. Contact 4Cs Treasurer Pauline Newton pnewton@pres-net.com by NOVEMBER 1 to reserve one or more spots for your association. Payments may be made in advance or at the door, but reserving the number of spaces you want by NOVEMBER 1 is crucial to planning this important event to accommodate all attendees.
