Prey selectivity in bladderwort

Not only are bladderwort adapted to catch evasive prey by suction feeding on a very small scale (which motivates our study of the hydrodynamics), an individual leaf will produce bladders in a range of sizes, apparently in order to specialize in various sizes of prey.
